Baby Love

Meet Sweet, Sweet Baby {F}

There is something so enduring about this little babe.
Maybe it's her little lips, or those curly toes.
Whatever it is, it was a delight to be able to photograph
11 day young Baby {F}.

Pure

I've really been loving photographing my clients
using all natural, available light lately.
The images are crisp and PURE.

Just like lil' man {B} who
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing
over the weekend.

Alert and content, Mr. {B} was a delight,
but didn't want to fall asleep for us to capture
some fun posed shots.
Regardless of our attempts to woo him to
sleep, he gave me some great expressions to work with.

Congratulations to this beautiful family on the
birth of this perfect Baby Boy.

I'm Baaack!!!

Wow!  It's been waaaaay too long since I've blogged.  Not because I didn't want to or not care to.... only because I've been busy working on shoots, marketing for 2012, booking schools and evaluating the things that "worked" in 2011.  I'm super excited about the things to come in 2012 and can't wait until the weather here in Mass gets warmer so I can get back to my work outdoors ;)

January for me is a time to reflect over the past year.  As this month wraps up I've
been able to conclude these things:

1.  I ABSOLUTELY love my job!!! I feel blessed each and every single day
to do what I am truly passionate about.
2.  Moving to Massachusetts and starting my client base from scratch has been difficult and rewarding all at the same time.  I love my cheerleaders and would not be in business without their referrals.
THANK YOU!!! (you know who you are!)
3.  I love my clients!!!  I am a "people" person and I absolutely love working with newborns,
kids, seniors and families! My best days are when I'm working with people and not editing in front of a computer for hours!
4.  Mini session events ROCK!!!  Not only do my clients walk away with a screaming deal, but I get to really focus for an entire day on photography and am not bogged down with travel, set up, downloading, uploading, editing, or printing.  I'm exhausted once it's over but love to do these shoots!
5.  I need to spend more time at the beach :)
6.  I absolutely, positively adore newborns.
7.  We are adding a furry four legged creature to our family this year.  I think it just might be the perfect time to really expand my photography to include more dogs and family pets into sessions ;)
8.  One is never too old to go back to school.  I'm signed up for many classes already this
year and can NOT wait!!!
9.  Natural lighting is the way to go.
10.  My kids are getting older.  I need to be sure I take the time to capture the every day moments
we share  as a family just as I do for other families.  After all, my #1 priority is FAMILY!!!

Sharing the love through photography....

Pearls, flowers and tutu's.... Baby {L}

I had 2 cancellations this week which in itself makes me crave photo sessions.
It's my outlet, my sanity, my passion.

So this afternoon, in comes a sleeping 6 month old in her car seat for her session.
It's sweet Baby Lauren, as content as could be.
Now some parents might cringe at the thought of actually waking a baby for photos
(of all things!  talk about crabby)!!!  But not this lil' angel.
This lil' girl is a keeper :)

Here's her sneak peek.....

A day at the beach

A roommate of mine from college came out the East Coast last week.
Of course we packed up half the house and ventured out to Narragansett, RI
when my kids put their toes in the Atlantic Ocean for the very first time.
A great friendship was rekindled between Kelly and I.....
great friendships were made between her kids and mine.
Wish more and more everyday I lived CLOSER to many,
many of my friends and family.
In the meantime, you all will just have to come
EAST!!!!!
