I had 2 cancellations this week which in itself makes me crave photo sessions.

It's my outlet, my sanity, my passion.

So this afternoon, in comes a sleeping 6 month old in her car seat for her session.

It's sweet Baby Lauren, as content as could be.

Now some parents might cringe at the thought of actually waking a baby for photos 

(of all things!  talk about crabby)!!!  But not this lil' angel.

This lil' girl is a keeper :)

A day at the beach

A roommate of mine from college came out the East Coast last week.  

Of course we packed up half the house and ventured out to Narragansett, RI 

when my kids put their toes in the Atlantic Ocean for the very first time.  

A great friendship was rekindled between Kelly and I.....

great friendships were made between her kids and mine.

Wish more and more everyday I lived CLOSER to many,

many of my friends and family. 

In the meantime, you all will just have to come

EAST!!!!!

Sweet Baby {A}

Newborn shoots are by far my favorites.  Don't get me wrong, 

I love any type of portrait photography, but newborns are especially sweet and endearing.  

I always get my "baby fix" during these sessions and this lil' babe, 

Baby {A} was as content as content could be while I posed her.  

Born 5 weeks early and photographed at 3 weeks young.  

A little peanut at just over 5 lbs during this shoot.  

Too precious for words so I'll let you see for yourself.

It's no wonder she's content.... look at that belly!

Perfect weather meant we could shoot outside as well.  Not easy to do with a newbie!

Her mom asked me to travel a very long distance (ok, all of across the street!) 

to capture her at this stage of her life.

Welcome!!!

So, I'm totally and completely new to the world of blogging.  And for good reasons.  See, I'm the type of person that once I start something I like, I'm HOOKED.  Photography as I tell people is like a "hobby gone wild".  I'm totally addicted.  Yes, even this word has entered my 6-yr-old son's vocabulary.  As in, "Moooom!!!!  You're addicted to taking pictures!"  or "Mooooom!!!!  You're addicted to the computer!".  And I'm sure soon it will be, "Moooom!!!!  You're addicted to blogging!".  And perhaps I will be.  I will do my absolute best to post new sessions on this blog for "Sneak Peeks" for my clients.  Mostly however, I will continue do my best to live a balanced life and not become addicted to this space!
